Marvel Takeover: Fantastic Four? Fantastic Four

Remember that movie with the woman who was invisible and that...thing? No? Yea, not many people do. Well if today is a day to remember something for then let it be for the randomly and surprisingly dark teaser trailer for 'The Fantastic Four' arriving on August of this year. Check it out below:

Interesting to say the least right? Not only do we see a brand new cast but we see some rather cool changes too. Things seem a lot more bleak and dark and depressing than what they were in 2005. There's also a black Human Torch this go around (which I'm really happy for). Among the cast we have some familiar faces such as Miles Teller ('Whiplash', '21 & Over') playing Mr. Fantastic/Reed Richards, Kate Mara ('House of Cards', 'Iron Man 2' sorry I forgot that shouldn't be spoken of) playing The Invisible Woman/Sue Storm, Michael B. Jordan ('Fruitvale Station', 'Chronicle') as The Human Torch/Johnny Storm and Jamie Bell ('King Kong') as The Thing/Ben Grimm. 

Not quite sure what the story is yet but ImDb's synopsis reads "Four young outsiders teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy". This is gonna be one interesting ride. Not only an origin story but a sinister one? Marvel also has their name all over the poster so does that mean we can expect a pretty good reboot? Only time will tell. 'The Fantastic Four', not to be confused with 'Fantastic Four', is scheduled to hit theaters on August 7, 2015.
